I love this blog. It is like an explosion of colour and JOY. While I may not be a big colour wearer myself I can certainly appreciate it and Ken Done. The Social Studio is such a fantastic idea and a GREAT cause.
I have just returned from the mall. I bought a dress which is actually a summer dress (why it was in store at this cold time of year I do not know). It is pretty and floral and floaty. Yay! Here is a little picture from City Chic
Buying a dress was not really part of my agenda for todays shopping activities. My one and only pair of black pants have just about died on me and I was meant to replace them. They are a lovely pair with somewhat floaty fabric with wide legs. I love wide legs pants. So comfy.
So….I tried on so many pairs and I just. couldn’t. find. any. How hard can it be?
Black pants are a staple item in most peoples wardrobes – half the ones I tried on didn’t even have belt loops – I don’t even know why they make pants without belt loops. Who can wear them? It was either the lack of belt loops or they were odd shaped. High Rise. Legs miles too long. I am genetically blessed(?) with short legs so boot cuts don’t really do it for me as when I take them up most of the flare comes off with it. Straight leg (not my thing) or just weird. The only pair I did find that were decent fit were brown and I have nothing that goes with brown – mainly tried on for fit purposes and I did search in vain for a black pair the same. SIGH. By the time I was finished in one store I was too pooped and pissed off to continue in another store.

♥ Kick Ass – Wow. Just wow. If you can get your head around an 11 year old hacking and slashing her way through bad guys (which might not be for everyone i know) this is a great film. Very funny and cartoon comic book like. I know. I am a big nerd.
♥ Destashing – I know I was just whining about this the other day but destashing led me to giving away some of the handbags I haven’t used in ages to my some of my lovely friends. I love sending things off to a good home!
♥ Rewards for debt – well not really. I had enough points on one of my cards to get a free magazine subscription. Hello Oz Vogue in my post box every month! (There wasn’t much choice unfortunately)

Now that autumn is finally upon us, I am so much looking forward to tight season in which the weather gets cold enough to wear stockings and jackets and scarves!
I have been spying on these lovely tights at the website We Love Colors (had to try really hard not to write colours there!!). They have a huge variety or colours AND not only do they have a variety of colours, they actually have a range designated for plus size ladies which is a big pain in the bum to find over here. Curse my genetically stumpy legs! Nah they are pretty awesome.
I have my eyes on the red, violet, purple and blue. I can’t wait to brighten up my black outfits with these beautiful tights!
Arrived this week. Cannot wait to get stuck into it ♥
I am probably just one of lots and lots that have posted about this so I will keep it brief. Sonia Rykiel for H & M – I love it. I love it even though horizontal stripes are my worst enemy. It is so bright and fun and has that dash of colour among black which I normally try to achieve with layering. Pretty!
Why isn’t H&M in Australia yet? Or have an online store (in English)? Annoying!
