One of my favourite photo blogs is From me to you by NYC photgrapher Jamie. Recently she posted some pictures of a vintage store in Texas called Bon Ton Vintage. I think on her last visit she took these amazing pictures. I picked a few of my favourites – there is more on the blog entry here. Go, see and enjoy!
It has been awhile since I have sat down and tried to think of positive things. House selling/buying has been all consuming so it was nice to finally make some time to sit down and think. Enjoy!
♥ crisp winter mornings and beautiful knitted wool scarves and also basking in the beautiful sun during the day
♥ dreaming about interior design for my new place – paint swatches, carpets and kitchen/bathrooms oh my!
♥ 85% cocoa lindt – enough for a hit of chocolate but without the ‘oops I ate the whole block’ of milk chocolate
It is a beautiful thing the internet has done in opening up the world and closets of some fascinating people. Here are some of my favourite stylish individuals on the internet. Clearing am lusting after winter/colder weather looks right now. I am not a summer person!
I have been following the great blog of Melbournite Hayley for a good few months now. I love her style and it is also inspiring to see someone a similar size to myself looking fab out there in the fashion blogging universe.
Anyway she took part in a segment on TodayTonight (a sort of light news/current affair type show) about the lack of plus size options in Australia which is something I struggle with too! I live in the UK for a few years and they had a number of stores cater to up to a 22 and Evans which I think went up to a 28 so there was always options and they often had on season things to wear not the mumu nanna wear you see so often in Australia. It was such an adjustment to make and quite a depressing one!
I would also like to mention that Patty Huntington of Frockwriter conducted this interview in such a great way so it came off very balanced and fair. Props!
